Loco Sacko Roco

All kinds of costumey stuff. LBP is getting nonstop attention and content and that makes me happy. I wonder when they’ll be adding new functionality or parts rather than pretty costumes.

Let’s see… there are crowns for people who won LittleBigChallenge that coincided with PS3’s second birthday.

Since LocoRoco 2 is just over the horizon, we’ve been gifted sacostumes with a loco theme. Personally, I think a few of these seem a little creepy (I think it’s the clown-like lip coloring), but I’d still love to slap sack around using those little guys on the wrists. As usual these things are bundled at 2.99 for all 5.

And finally we all know you’ve been addicted and madly in love with your TV since LBP came out, so what better way to show your appreciation than wearing the free TV costume part. This was actually a winner of an LBChallenge made for everyone.

LittleBigDLC

A recent post on the playstation.blog details the first DLC that will be available for LittleBigPlanet. You’ll be able to get some sweet looking duds for yourself at a variety of price points.

Starting next week, we’ll get the much anticipated “first week” Space Man costume for free, along with a very cool Halloween costume.

In addition, to apologize for the less than stellar server status the first week, they will be giving out more free DLC over the next few weeks.

If you still can’t get enough, there will be costumes to buy, like these two cool Gecko and Gorilla outfits for $.99, and “premium” costumes like Solid Snake for $1.99. In addition, there will be packs, where you can save a bit of dough on multiple costumes.

Cool stuff indeed.

Get LBP Early for SpaceSack Goodness

Somehow I missed it (probably busy making levels in the beta =) but if you are one of the folks playing LBP in the first week, you will get some cool ass space duds, according to this post on the Official Site. There’s details on the pre-order goodies form the different retailers as well, but that astronaut get up is what I’ll be styling.

Straight from the Metaphorical Horses Mouth

If you come to LBPbuilder sooner than you read the playstation blog (a total of about 0 people), you might have missed some new costumed friends coming to LBP!

Final Fantasy 7 (FF7) fans will find facts in this newflash fulfilling! Sephiroth in LBP will be just as recognizable as he was in town or on the world map in FF7, with a big (sack) head and cute little emotions. I for one can’t wait to make Sephiroth cower in fear or cry more than Peter Parker in Spiderman 3.

Solid Snake was also announced, and I believe he is currently the oldest man in LBP.
