Unless some magic reprieve happens, tomorrow is the last day for the beta (ending at 7pm EDT)

So remember to ignore your friends, family, and loved ones and cram as much beta in as possible!

Somehow I missed it (probably busy making levels in the beta =) but if you are one of the folks playing LBP in the first week, you will get some cool ass space duds, according to this post on the Official Site. There’s details on the pre-order goodies form the different retailers as well, but that astronaut get up is what I’ll be styling.

If you come to LBPbuilder sooner than you read the playstation blog (a total of about 0 people), you might have missed some new costumed friends coming to LBP!

Final Fantasy 7 (FF7) fans will find facts in this newflash fulfilling! Sephiroth in LBP will be just as recognizable as he was in town or on the world map in FF7, with a big (sack) head and cute little emotions. I for one can’t wait to make Sephiroth cower in fear or cry more than Peter Parker in Spiderman 3.

Solid Snake was also announced, and I believe he is currently the oldest man in LBP.

According to this story on 1up, Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans leaked that levels made during the beta will be available in the full game.

Awesome news for those who have put lots and lots of effort into making some really great levels. And for those who haven’t I guess too… =)
